Actor Raghav Juyal has shared what it was like working alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the much-awaited action thriller ‘King’. Calling the experience unforgettable, the ‘Kill’ actor admitted that he was so overwhelmed during their first scene together that he momentarily forgot his dialogues, as childhood memories of watching Shah Rukh’s films came rushing back.Speaking to IANS, Raghav opened up about filming with the Bollywood superstar and described it as a dream come true. Recalling his first day on set with Shah Rukh Khan, the actor revealed that hearing the superstar deliver his dialogue made him lose focus for a moment.“It’s a very dream-level experience. I can’t tell you in words. When I was shooting for the first time and the camera was being set up, Shah Rukh sir was there, and I was there. When he said the dialogue for the first time, I forgot my dialogue. Because you remember your childhood. You remember how you used to watch his films 5-6 times in a single-screen cinema. I used to watch his films 5-6 times.”
Childhood memories came flooding back
Raghav said responding to Shah Rukh Khan in front of the camera felt almost unreal because he had grown up watching the superstar’s films repeatedly on the big screen.“He is saying the dialogue to you. You have to give the answer. How do I give the answer to Shah Rukh Khan? It felt like that. But then I controlled it. I said, ‘Do it well.’ So, it’s a very surreal, different experience. It is dreamy.”The actor added that he eventually gathered himself and completed the scene, but the moment remains one of the most memorable experiences of his career.
Raghav to play one of the main villains in ‘King’
According to reports, Raghav Juyal will be seen in a pivotal negative role in ‘King’. He is believed to portray the son of Jackie Shroff’s character and will reportedly take on a younger version of Shah Rukh Khan’s character, making him one of the film’s principal antagonists.Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller features an ensemble cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 24, 2026.
Awaiting the release of ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai ‘
Apart from ‘King’, Raghav is gearing up for the release of ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’. The film also stars Niharika NM, Sanjay Kapoor, Barkha Singh, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Vivan Bhatena, Niki Aneja Walia and Vikalp Mehta in key roles. It is slated to hit theatres on July 30.
