Laurus Labs Q1 net profit surges 126%

Hyderabad: Laurus Labs Ltd clocked a 126% surge in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, at ₹368 crore as against ₹163 crore in the corresponding quarter of financial year 2025-26. The company’s revenues climbed 29% to ₹2,026 crore, up from ₹1,570 crore in the preceding year. The company attributed the robust performance to factors such as strong growth in the contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) business, accompanied by sustained progress in the affordable medicines division and aided by the expansion of manufacturing network and niche capabilities that enhanced capacity utilisation and operating leverage.Laurus Labs founder & CEO Dr Satyanarayana Chava said Laurus was able to deliver record quarterly revenue with expanded profitability and continued portfolio transformation thanks to initiatives such as commercial deliveries in CDMO and resilient performance in the affordable medicines portfolio.
