A few months ago, the 65 year old NHL legend Wayne Gretzky made an appearance on the Daily Hive podcast where he addressed the situation and said, “People are going to say and believe what they want…The bottom line is, I know in my heart I’m Canadian, I’ve stayed Canadian and I’m a Canadian for life.”The NHL legend added, “I had a lot of support. You’ve got to take the good with the bad. It probably would hurt my dad (Walter) more, so I’m glad he didn’t have to see it.”Wayne Gretzky also opened up about his conversation with Justin Trudeau as he added, “As I said to the Prime Minister, (Trump) wouldn’t tell me how to play hockey.
