Surat: A 42-year-old Adajan-based teacher has filed a stalking and criminal intimidation complaint with Pal police against a person named Akash Nishad. She alleged that Nishad has been stalking and harassing her for the last couple of months, further asking her to maintain a relationship with him. Nishad even tried to stop her on June 18 when she came out after a yoga class. He forced her to talk to him and meet regularly without the knowledge of her husband.The teacher had filed a complaint of rape against Nishad in 2021. The accused told the complainant that he was ready to go to jail again. He also threatened to kill her if she did not maintain a relationship with him. The teacher finally filed a complaint when he kept on stalking her.Woman attacked by husband in UtranA 34-year-old woman was publicly attacked by her husband on Saturday morning while travelling on a two-wheeler. The victim and her husband are living separately since 2019 as a case is being fought between them in family court.The accused, who was travelling in his car, stopped the victim when she was going home after dropping her daughter. At that point, a woman was also sitting in the car. The accused came out of the car and started beating the victim using abusive language. The victim was also slapped by the woman in the car. The accused left when locals came to the woman’s rescue, issuing a death threat while leaving. Following the complaint, Utran police arrested the woman’s husband and began investigation.
