A man has been charged over assaulting two women at different massage parlours in Melbourne’s CBD last week.
Police say the man entered the two massage businesses on Bourke Street on July 9.
It is alleged each time he assaulted a woman who was working at the parlour.
Police said no initial report had been made after the assaults, and investigators only became aware of them after videos of the alleged incidents were posted and shared on social media.
They then worked to identify the locations of the assaults and the victims.
Yesterday they arrested a 32-year-old Melbourne man on Collins Street, and he has since been charged with various assault offences.
He has been remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
