Homicide squad detectives have arrested a man following the death of an as-yet unidentified man in Gippsland.
Victoria Police found an unresponsive man inside a property in Morwell, about 150 kilometres east of Melbourne, just after 3:30pm yesterday.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
Police arrested a 43-year-old Morwell man a short time later in Traralgon.
He is expected to be interviewed later today.
Authorities said the two men were believed to know each other.
A crime scene remains in place at the property in Morwell and investigations are ongoing.
