Can Gen Z give campus politics a new lease of life?

The student protests over the NEET paper leak may have ebbed in Delhi after the exit of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, but many miles away in Ranchi, another exam controversy has sent another group of young job aspirants on hunger strike.
Ironically, the generation that has rediscovered the power of collective protest has come of age on campuses where one of the oldest forums for student politics — the elected students’ union — has largely disappeared.
