Akanksha Chamola made a shocking statement in the latest episode of controversial reality show, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. She expressed her disappointment over estranged husband Gaurav Khanna’s surprise visit inside Lock Upp 2 and called him a ‘stranger’. She added that she would have preferred meeting someone from her family instead. While talking to Shreya Kalra and Shilpa Shinde, Akanksha said she would have been happier if her mother, father, or even her pet dog had come to meet her instead of Gaurav.During the latest episode, Dheeraj Dhoopar’s wife Vinny Arora visited the show and the duo had an emotional reunion. After Vinny left the Lock Upp 2 sets, Akanksha Chamola, Shilpa Shinde and Shreya Kalra were seen having a conversation. During their interaction, Shreya mentioned about missing her boyfriend and how badly she wanted to meet him.

Shreya told Akanksha, “Tumhara bhi aa gaya, iska bhi aa gaya. Mereko bhi mera boyfriend chahiye thodi der ke liye.” Replying to her, Akanksha said, “Mere to ex tha. Has to raha hai Varun (Laila), bol raha hai ‘Tera family kaha aaya. Tera to stranger aaya.'” Akanksha’s remark made Shreya, Shilpa, and even herself burst into laughter.Akanksha added, “Usse (Gaurav) jyada mujhe family mein se koi aata to better tha.” When Shreya asked why she felt that way. Akanksha responded, “I wanted my comfort yaar. Basically more for me than for him.” She referred to Gaurav’s appearance on the show.

She further said, “I would have preferred agar meri mummy ya papa koi aate, ya mera kutta hi aa jata.” Akanksha’s remark had Shreya and Shilpa laughing once again.For the uninitiated, on the premiere episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, Akanksha Chamola announced her separation from husband Gaurav Khanna. The revalataion left the entire TV industry in shock. She revealed that they had been living separately and were in the process of getting a divorce. Akanksha added that they had mutually decided to end their marriage after several years together. In one of the episodes, the actress shared that not having children was one of the reasons behind their differences, but clarified that it was not the only reason they decided to separate. During another episode, Akanksha shared that Gaurav was aware of her bisexuality and had accepted it.Akanksha Chamola and Gaurav Khanna tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in Kanpur in 2016. The couple decided to part ways after 10 years of marriage.
