A driver has died at Calder Park, in Melbourne’s north-west, after crashing into a pole this morning.
Police responded to the single-vehicle crash after reports a vehicle had crashed on the racetrack about 10:05am.
The driver, who died at the scene, is yet to be formally identified, Victoria Police said in a statement.
It is believed the driver was competing in the Marque Sports Car Association of Victoria’s Super Sprint Series.
