Lucknow: BJP state vice-president Neeraj Singh on Sunday said the enthusiastic participation of youth in the Tiranga Yatra from chief minister’s residence to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly showcased the spirit of patriotism and national unity.During the event, Singh also led by example on public cleanliness, picking up plastic bottles, disposable cups and other litter scattered along the route. Carrying a garbage sack, he collected waste and urged citizens to keep public spaces clean during large gatherings. His initiative drew appreciation from citizens and social workers, several of whom joined the clean-up drive.Addressing the media, Singh said the large turnout of young participants reflected their commitment to the nation. “The youth are sending a strong message of India’s unity and integrity. Whenever the nation calls, young people will always be at the forefront. I am delighted to see such overwhelming participation,” he said.Calling on young people to continue leading national causes, Singh said they would play a pivotal role in realising the vision of a Developed India by 2047. “Whenever it comes to the nation, the youth must lead from the front. This generation will fulfil the resolve of building a developed India by 2047,” he said.Highlighting their contribution to India’s global rise, Singh said young Indians have helped carry the country’s achievements from “C-Link to Silicon Valley.” He also cited Swami Vivekananda, noting that the spiritual leader was a young man when he introduced India’s culture and philosophy to the world. “It is a matter of pride that today’s youth are expressing their patriotism and commitment to the nation,” he added.
