Savannah Guthrie has once again spoken out as her family continues to search for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, nearly six months after her disappearance. Nancy, 84, was abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1, and despite ongoing investigations, there have been no confirmed leads about her whereabouts.In a recent Instagram video, Savannah shared an emotional message, expressing the pain her family has been going through. “I’m coming on today with a very specific message,” she said. “It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end.” She added that nothing has changed in the case and assured that the family will never stop searching for her.She also directly addressed anyone who might have information, urging them to come forward. “So I’m asking you, begging you, to do the right thing now… Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her,” Savannah said in the video. She further added, “I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing.” The video was captioned simply, “bring her home,” just days before August 1 marks six months since Nancy went missing.The case has left many people confused, especially as there have been no major breakthroughs. Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is still active, but no arrests have been made so far.Recently, new details have surfaced about the case. According to crime journalist Briana Whitney, who spoke on Ashley Flowers’ Crime Junkie podcast, a ransom note was reportedly sent shortly after Nancy’s disappearance. The note read, “Hello, Savannah. We have your mother, Nancy. She is safe but scared,” and demanded millions in Bitcoin for her release. It also included threats, stating that harm would come to Nancy if the demands were not met.Investigators had earlier recovered surveillance footage showing a masked individual with a backpack near Nancy’s home around the time she disappeared. The case is being handled by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department along with the FBI.Despite the uncertainty and time that has passed, Savannah ended her message with hope, saying, “For all of us, no matter where we’ve been and what we’ve done, I believe there is always a way home… Please make the right choice.”
