“Shortchanged ahead of IPO”, ex-Juniper CEO seeks INR365-cr compensation

Former Juniper Green Energy CEO Naresh Mansukhani has alleged that the renewable-energy company deprived him of the full value of his incentive-linked equity and promised ESOP (employee stock option plan) benefits by terminating him shortly before its proposed IPO.
The case now places before the court a high-stakes pre-IPO executive compensation dispute. Mansukhani claims he helped build Juniper’s renewable-energy platform and was removed just before the IPO to deny him equity upside. Juniper, on the other hand, maintains that the buyback, termination and refusal of ESOP benefits were all in accordance with the service contract and law.
