NAVI MUMBAI: A drunk woman allegedly created chaos on a busy road in Navi Mumbai’s Ghansoli area on Monday after repeatedly stepping in front of an NMMT bus and an auto-rickshaw, disrupting traffic and drawing a large crowd.Eyewitnesses said the woman refused to move despite repeated requests from passersby and police personnel. The commotion led to traffic disruption in the area as curious onlookers gathered at the spot.Women police personnel tried to calm her down and persuade her to leave the road, but she allegedly remained uncooperative. As the situation escalated, police detained her and took her to the Koparkhairane police station for further action.Officials said necessary legal and medical procedures would be followed. No injuries or damage to vehicles were reported in the incident, and traffic was restored soon after the woman was removed from the road.
