Laughter Chefs' Abhishek Kumar reacts to Samarth Jurel's 'Naukar' remark; says, 'My family was hurt'

Television actors Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel, who started as foes on Bigg Boss 17, became good friends after the show and continued their strong bond as partners on Laughter Chefs. However, the duo are now not on talking terms and have also unfollowed each other on social media. The reason behind their fallout is said to be a comment made by Samarth Jurel on Abhishek Kumar. The clip from Samarth’s interview soon went viral on social media and was widely shared.During an interview with Nayandeep Rakshit, Samarth was seen talking about his cooking skills. Samarth joked that while he is good at cooking, Abhishek ends up spoiling everything. He then referred to Abhishek as his “naukar” and said he had hired him on an “advance payment.” Continuing the joke, Samarth claimed that Abhishek also works at Krushna Abhishek’s house, looks after car-related tasks there, and even drives for Vicky Jain.Samarth’s comment did not go down well with Abhishek, who took to his Instagram to share his disappointment. The actor took to social media to explain why the comment upset him and his family. In his post, Abhishek said that friendly teasing is usually meant for fun. Speaking about their time on Laughter Chefs, he added that the jokes they made on the show were mutual, made in the moment, and understood by both of them.In his post, Abhishek wrote, “Kisi aur ke YouTube show par mere baare mein aisi ajeeb baat kehna disrespectful tha or ye baatein show me hi achi lagti hai, interviews me nahi. Maine woh video dekha aur uss waqt kuch nahi bola, lekin meri family or extended family uss statement se bahut hurt hui.”

He further mentioned in his post that there is a clear difference between friends joking with each other on a show and making hurtful comments during an interview. Abhishek added that he was even more upset because he considers Samarth a friend. Abhishek ended his note by saying, “Maine hamesha uski respect ki hai, usey ek achha insaan maana hai, isliye yeh baat aur bhi zyada disappointing lagi (sic).”FOr the uninitiated, Samarth and Abhishek both dated Isha Malviya. However, their equation turned sour during Bigg Boss 17. However, after they came out of the show, they worked on their equation. Due to their friendly equation, they were cast as partners in Laughter Chefs season 1.
