INDORE: A petty dispute over a bicycle took a deadly turn in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district, where three men allegedly stabbed a 30-year-old man to death after an argument escalated into a violent confrontation late on Tuesday night.The incident occurred around 12. 30am near the residence of Vikram Darbar on Digtan Road in Sejwani village, nearly 13 km from Pithampur police station.The deceased was identified as Vishnu Bagri, son of Bihari.According to police, the dispute erupted after accused Gopi Bagri allegedly questioned Vishnu over hiding his bicycle.As the argument intensified, Gopi was joined by his brother-in-law Ravi Parmar and another associate, Nirbhay Singh Bagri, both residents of Chandan Nagar area in Ghatabillod. The trio allegedly assaulted Vishnu with knives, inflicting multiple injuries that proved fatal.The case was registered on the complaint of Vishal Bagri, 21.Police reached the village after receiving information about the attack and recorded the complainant’s statement at the spot before returning to the police station to register the FIR.A case has been registered against the three accused under Sections 103(1) (murder), 296(B) (obscene abuse) and 3(5) (common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police have launched a search for the accused and are taking further legal action.The incident has left residents of Sejwani and nearby villages in shock.
