A Gold Coast woman accused of killing two of her adult children five years apart, has been cleared of all murder charges.
In 2018 Maree Mavis Crabtree was arrested over the deaths of Jonathan Crabtree in 2017 and Erin Crabtree in 2012.
It was alleged by police at the time she drugged her children, aged 18 and 26, with prescription pain medication, then staged their overdoses.
Last month Ms Crabtree faced a trial in the Supreme Court in Brisbane, with relation to the death of Mr Crabtree.
She pleaded not guilty to his murder, an earlier attempted murder and fraud, and ultimately a jury acquitted her of all three charges.
On Thursday, several other charges, including the murder of Erin Crabtree were discontinued by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
During a review, in which Ms Crabtree was not present, the court heard two indictments, which included that charge would be discharged.
