Actress Preity Mukhundhan has been receiving applause for her latest releases including ‘Blast’ and ‘Idhayam Murali’ and is set to play the female lead in Ashok Selvan starrer ‘Anbil Avan’ directed by R Kaarthikeyan. Recently, at the title teaser launch event, the actress spoke about the film and became emotional while talking about the team.

As per a report by IANS, Preity Mukhundhan said that the people working on the film are more than just a team for her. She called them family and said that everyone involved in the film is very close to her heart.“This team is more than a team. They are family. Everyone in this team is very close to my heart,” she said.

The ‘Kannappa’ actress also had special words for Ashok Selvan. She said that he gave her enough space to perform without feeling insecure about sharing the screen with a female co-star.“Ashok, I don’t know how to thank you. Of all the mainstream male actors, Ashok is one person I can confidently say who will, without any insecurity, give space to his female co-stars,” she said.Calling it an amazing quality, Preity added, “Thank you. I am eternally grateful to you for giving me the space you have given me in this film.”Speaking about her character, Preity Mukhundhan believes that her character in ‘Anbil Avan’ will connect with many women and girls. She praised the way the role has been written and said the character has been created with a lot of care.“This is a character that you have beautifully written. As you said, this character will connect with a lot of women and girls,” she said.
