Neelu Vaghela, known for playing Bhabho in Diya Aur Baati Hum, will play an important role in Rajan Shahi’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai post the leap track.Sharing more on her role and the show the versatile actress says, ”It felt like a dream come true. I had always wanted to work with Rajan Sir’s production house, but due to my previous shooting commitments, things never worked out. This time, everything fell into place, and I am truly grateful to Rajan Sir, Director’s Kut Productions and Star Plus for giving me this opportunity. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is an iconic show with an incredible 18-year legacy, and becoming a part of it is a huge honour. I play the role of the pardadi. She’s a lovable character, and although we have just started shooting, I can already say she’s going to be very interesting. Our family consists of my daughter-in-law, son and grandson, and together we bring a strong yet entertaining dynamic to the story. I believe viewers will enjoy this fresh family, as we’ll bring new energy, emotional moments, drama and plenty of entertainment to the show.”
On her experience of joining the show
But joining an established cast can be both exciting and challenging. How has your experience been with the team, especially Rohit Purohit, Samridhii Shukla and the rest of the cast? On this she says,”It is definitely challenging because the existing cast has already created such wonderful characters and established the show’s world. But from my very first day on set, everyone welcomed us so warmly. The atmosphere on the sets is extremely positive, and the entire team has been so encouraging. That positivity has given all of us in the new family the confidence to do our best, and we hope the audience welcomes us with the same love.”Producer Rajan Shahi recently organised a special havan to welcome the new cast and seek blessings for the team’s success. The veteran Actress is extremely grateful for this. She says,”It was a beautiful and memorable experience. I would really like to thank Rajan sir for organising such a grand havan to welcome the new family. He told us about the temple where prayers have been offered for the show for the past 18 years, and it was a wonderful surprise for me because not everyone gives so much importance to these traditions. Receiving those blessings before beginning our journey made us feel incredibly fortunate. My entire family in the show truly feels blessed.”Talking more about her role, she adds, “Honestly, it is still too early for me to reveal much because we have only started shooting and our characters are still taking shape. Even I am discovering the journey as we go along. So, I wouldn’t want to say anything that gives away the story, but audiences can definitely expect something fresh. I can assure our family’s entry will bring freshness to the story while staying true to the emotions that have always made Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai so special. There will be emotional moments, drama, entertainment and positive energy.
