Castro told police that she had booked a hotel room for Tina but later realised she had chosen the wrong hotel.She said her mother then attacked her.“She pulled my hair down and started punching my face,” Castro told the officer while struggling to control her emotions.Tina was questioned separately by police and denied attacking her daughter. “She hates me for some reason, I never did anything to her,” she said.Police later arrested Tina after seeing a video Castro had taken and noticing scratches on her hands and a swollen lip. Tina protested, saying, “A busted lip? I never touched her lip!”Castro later gave police a written statement saying: “I was trying to get my mother a hotel room when she started attacking me, pulling my hair, punching me, scratching me. She didn’t think I was getting her the room so she attacked me.”The report says Tina was fined $200 for domestic battery. It also says she is now wanted for contempt of court after failing to pay the fine.
