Stephen Bear sentenced to jail after breaching restraining order
Stephen Bear has been sent to jail once again after it was discovered that he had breached the terms of a restraining order that had been filed against him according to a BBC report. Even though the 36-year-old was told not to post any content about Harrison, he continued to do so in 2025, after multiple posts surfaced online that were traced back to him.Between March 1, 2025, and July 21, 2025, Bear posted numerous things about Harrison and their case from 2023. He used various online platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Facebook.In a recent hearing, which was held back in June, the authorities sentenced him to an additional 16 months in prison for breaching the order. Judge Christopher Morgan presided over both his 2023 and 2026 cases. During the latest hearing, he shared a statement in court where he addressed Bear. He shared, “You knew all of that was untrue, and yet you posted it. You left Miss Harrison, I’m afraid, at the mercy of any individual who had aligned themselves with your lies.“According to the outlet, the judge has also extended the restraining order until further notice. New clauses have been added to stop Bear from contacting the ‘Love Island’ star’s mother and friends. These will remain in place until a new order is imposed by the court. The judge further stated, “What you did in that three-to-four-month period is simply victim-blaming.”The final sentencing was done on Thursday, after which Bear was taken into custody to begin his second prison sentence.
Georgia Harrison admits that she feels unsafe
While the ‘Love Island’ star was not present during the hearing held in June, she shared a written statement through her legal counsel in court. She stated that because of Stephen’s actions against her, she had felt “isolated, exposed, and unsafe,” while also requesting an extension on the restraining order. The statement also revealed that she felt unsafe for her unborn child. “I shut him out of my mind for a long time, and it’s not fair that he’s managed to crawl his way back in,” she added.
