Sony has launched its new Bravia Professional Displays BZ-P Series in India, a lineup of 16 models built for offices, classrooms, retail stores, airports and other commercial spaces. The displays go on sale across India from July 14, 2026, through Sony’s authorised professional solutions network, with prices starting at Rs 1,40,000.The series is split into three tiers: the flagship BZ40P (four models, 55 to 85 inches), the mid-range BZ35P (six models, 43 to 85 inches) and the entry-level BZ30P (six models, same size range). All are 4K HDR panels built around Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare technology, which cuts down reflections in bright, glass-heavy commercial spaces—up to 47% anti-glare on the flagship models and 25% on the other two tiers.
Slimmer chassis means videowalls and portrait installs are less of a hassle
Sony has redesigned the chassis to be slimmer and lighter this time around, with a universal build that supports portrait mode and videowall setups without extra hardware. Centre-positioned VESA mounting holes should make wall installs simpler, and the 75-inch and 85-inch models get built-in handles for easier handling during setup. The displays also pack a System-on-Chip setup, so businesses running digital signage won’t need a separate set-top box. Sony says it has tested the displays against major content management system platforms to keep integration smooth for system integrators.
31% less power draw could cut long-term running costs for businesses
Sony claims the BZ-P Series uses up to 31% less power than its predecessor, the BZ-L Series, thanks to a new optical system and AI-driven backlight control. The lineup is Energy Star certified, with EPEAT certification pending, and uses Sony’s SORPLAS recycled plastic in select models. Select BZ40P and BZ35P models also carry IP5X dust resistance, aimed at deployments in transport hubs, warehouses and retail floors where displays run continuously.Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director, Sony India, said the launch reflects the growing demand for digital display infrastructure across enterprises, retail and public sector projects in the country.
